VR Sketch

We drew several dresses by HTC VIVE Package. The sketches were then exported as .obj files.

Flattening

The .obj file was imported into Maya and edited. Then it was imported into Pepakura Designer ( a program used for paper craft, here we used it to flatten the 3D sketch onto flat pieces).

How might we apply AR and Artificial Intelligence to measure the body size?

There are existing AR applications on mobile devices that a phone can work as a ruler. Also from our research, it is possible to extract the size of a person from several pictures of the person in different angles by artificial intelligence.
